Ateliers urbains : Qawha Boondael

In this film, residents of the Volta and Vandeuren housing estates talk about recent developments in the working-class neighborhood of Boondael in Ixelles. Since the summer of 2018, neighbors have been organizing to collectively bring to life a space for meetings and exchanges, based on solidarity and not profit. The Café Solidaire is, however, already doomed by the renovation in 2020 of the social housing in which it has set up. Never mind, the main thing is that it exists as a device for happiness.
